dolomite and sand. Also known as Mother Temple of the Indian subcontinent,

regarded by Bahá'ís as the most recent in the line of

Qutab Minar, Delhi
Founded by Qutub-ud-Din in 1199, Qutub Minar is a 72.5 meters and the
world's tallest brick minaret. Recognized as Delhi's landmark, it was
completed by the Sultan Qutub-ud-Din's successor and son-in-law, Iltutmish.
It is a red sandstone tower that is covered with beautiful and striking
carvings & inscriptions of Quran. Qutub Minar is still the highest stone
tower in India and one of the finest Islamic structures ever raised.
India Gate, Delhi

India
Gate stands 42m high in the centre of Delhi. It is an "Arc-de-Triomphe"
like Archway in the middle of a crossroad and almost similar to its French
counterpart war memorial. It commemorates the 90,000 Indian soldiers who
lost their lives fighting for the British Army during the First World War.
It also bears the names of more than 13,516 British and Indian soldiers
killed in the Northwestern Frontier in the Afghan war of 1919. Following
India's independence, India Gate became the site of the Indian Army's Tomb
of the Unknown Soldier, known as the Amar Jawan Jyoti.
Shopping in Delhi is considered to be one of the most
